Launch Atlantic
What Is the Launch Atlantic Program?
A 20-week employment program for young women experiencing multiple barriers to employment. Launch Atlantic includes:
- A PAID eight-week virtual employment skills development group program
- A 12 week PAID work experience in a young woman’s field of interest
Launch Atlantic Offers
Each Launch Atlantic participant engages in virtual group training and one-on-one support
- Portfolio & resume development
- Computer software training
- CPR & WHMIS Certifications
- Career & education exploration
- Employability skills
· Portfolio and Resume Development
· Financial Literacy Education
. LinkedIn Learning
· Career Exploration and Return to Work Action-Planning
· CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and WHMIS Certifications
· Access to digital devices required to participate in online programming
ARE YOU?
- A woman aged 15 – 30
- Currently out of school, unemployed or underemployed
- Able to attend programming 30 hours a week
Priority Youth
(Including but not limited to)
- High school non-completion
- Disability
- Aboriginal
- Residence in a rural or remote location
- Lone (single) parent
- Visible or ethnic minority
- Recent immigrant
