YWCA WISH Program

WHAT IS WISH?

The YWCA WISH Program (Women in Supported Housing) provides safe affordable housing, for single women who have experienced homelessness. The YWCA provides WISH program participants with furnished apartments located throughout Halifax Regional Municipality, a trusteeship program and support services.

With in this supported housing program for women, we advocate for and provide essential resources and supports in a respectful, empowering environment.

The WISH Program can serve a maximum of 24 women at one time. We are currently operating at full occupancy with a waiting list, but welcome program inquiries.

The WISH Program is a YWCA Turning Point Program serving women and young women at critical turning points in their lives.
