Power of Being a GIRL
Power of Being a Girl is a community conference for young women focusing on girls’ developmental needs to prevent violence in the lives of girls and young women. Power of Being a Girl is a one day event filled with girl only empowerment programs run for and by young women, directly connected with YWCA Canada and “The Week to End Violence”.How to apply: Write a short paragraph that tells us about yourself and why you’d like to attend Power of Being a Girl. (Some points you may want to include in your paragraph are: your background, your interests, the challenges you face in your life, things that inspire you, etc.) Then, fill out the registration form on our website, and send us both documents!
