The vision of the World YWCA is of a fully inclusive world where justice, peace, health, human dignity, freedom and care for the environment are promoted and sustained through women's leadership.

World YWCA members aim to improve women's lives, achieve social and economic justice, ensure human rights, and restore the integrity of the planet. World YWCA unites 25 million women and girls in over 122 countries through 100 affiliated, autonomous national YWCA's.

For 135 years, YWCA Canada has expressed the spirit, the struggle and the dedication of those who fought for the improved status of women. YWCA Canada is the largest women's multi-service organization in the country with 36 Member Associations providing essential programs and services to 1 million women, teen girls, and their families every year in 200 communities across Canada.
